After Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 14 of Baybay City, Leyte issued Warrants of Arrest on March 16, 19 Philippine National Police personnel led by Supirentendent Marvin Marcos today surrendered to PNP-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Regional Office in Eastern Visayas.
Warrants of Arrest was issued for the crime of Murder docketed as Criminal Case No. B-17-03-50 and B-17-03-51 against PSupt Marvin Wynn Marcos, PSupt Santi Noel G. Matira, PCInsp Leo D. Laraga, SPO4 Melvin M. Cayobit, PO3 Johnny A. Ibañez, PCInsp Calixto C. Canillas Jr., SPO4 Juanito A. Duarte, PO1 Lloyd O. Ortigueza, PSInsp Fritz B. Blanco, PO1 Bhernard R. Orpilla, PSInsp Deogacias P. Diaz III, SPO2 Benjamin L. Dacallos, PO3 Norman T. Abellanosa, PO1 Jerlan S. Cabiyaan, PInsp Lucrecito A. Candilosas, SPO2 Antonio R. Docil, SPO1 Mark Christian Cadilo, PO2 Jhon Ruel Doculan, and PO2 Jaime P. Bacsal.
Police Regional Office 8 Regional Director Chief Superintendent Elmer Beltejar said the respondents undergone booking procedure at the CIDG Regional Unit after they voluntarily submitted themselves for accounting and investigation.
