The National Capital Region Police Office and Quezon City Police District today presented the high-powered firearms and ammunition that were seized from Felix Nathaniel “Angel” Manalo. Felix Nathaniel is brother of Iglesia ni Cristo Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo.
Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office has recommended no bail against expelled INC member Felix Nathaniel for the case illegal possession of firearms.
On March 2 police operatives have brought Felix Nathaniel along with 31 others for investigation of indiscriminate firing March 1. The police also implemented search of his house for alleged armory.
“Illegal possession of firearms against Felix Nathaniel Manalo a.k.a. Angel Manalo who is admittedly the owner/occupant of the house where the subject firearms were seized and/or confiscated by virtue of the Search Warrant issued with no bail recommended,” QC prosecutor’s office said in a resolution.
Meanwhile, Jonathan Ledesma, Felix Nathaniel’s co-accused, faces additional charges of frustrated murder and direct assault for shooting and wounding two police officers during the March 2 incident.
Other personalities with Felix Nathaniel also known as Angel were ordered to be released for further investigation. Victor Erano Manalo-Hemedez was granted bail.
