Pacquiao wins against Bradley, with 2 knockdowns

April 10, 2016 by Ruben Santos

Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao won the World Boxing Organization (WBO) International Welterweight title via unanimous decision, three judges scored 116-110, against Timothy “Desert Storm” Bradley. The fight was held MGM Grand, Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 10 (Philippine Time).

The Filipino fighter knocked down Bradley towards the end of Round 7, and a minute before Round 9 ended.

He also got the Legacy Belt, a Special WBO commemorative title belt.

The special belt is studded with at least 60 12-carat diamonds. It shows phrase “Battle of Super Champions” in the center, just below the logo of the sanctioning organization WBO.

This match was most probably last fight of the Filipino boxing icon.

He is the first and only boxer in the world who won championship belts in eight boxing divisions. These divisions are Flyweight, Super Bantamweight, Featherweight, Super Featherweight, Lightweight, Junior welterweight, Welterweight, and Super Welterweight.
