The Philippine National Police has deployed additional Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) riders to Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA). The deployment was conducted at the July 4 at the PNP National Headquarters Grandstand, Camp Rafael C. Crame, Quezon City.
EDSA is the main thoroughfare in Metro Manila passing through 6 of the National Capital Region’s local government units, namely, from north to south, Caloocan, Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati and Pasay.
“The additional personnel is to generate quick response to the situations in EDSA and to provide efficient assistance to the motoring public,” the PNP said.
