Security forces who recently completed their deployment in Ayunging Shoal aboard BRP Sierra Madre in West Philippine Sea were welcomed and given recognition.
“Team Naval Forces West warmly welcomed the outgoing security personnel of Ayungin Shoal, KIG in an Arrival Ceremony headed by Capt. Dorvin Jose L Legaspi, the Acting Commander, Western Comman, today at Headquarters Western Command Social Hall, Camp General Artemio Ricarte, Bgy. San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City,” the Naval Forces West said May 22.
“The event [was] highlighted by the awarding and traditional handshake rendered to these defenders and patriots of the West Philippine Sea, as a tribute to their selfless accomplishment of their mission,” Naval Forces West added.
