President Rodrigo Duterte’s known ‘kumpare’ businessman Peter Lim is now on Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO). Justice Undersecretary Erickson Balmes said the order was issued July 10.
An ILBO directs the Bureau of Immigration to be on the lookout for a person of interest and verify his status. Meanwhile, a Hold Departure Order prevents an individual to depart from the Philippines.
Moreover, Philippine National Police (PNP)-Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Central Visayas (CIDG-7) is investigating Lim upon the order of higher office in Manila.
According to report of Inquirer.net, a subpoena will be sent to Lim within the week, asking him to personally appear before the Department of Justice.
“If there are enough evidence against Lim, appropriate charges will be filed in court,” the Inquirer report added.
