Jose Manuel ‘Babe’ Del Gallego Romualdez, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Publisher, and President of Stargate People Asia, was nominated as the Philippine Ambassador to the United States.
Before formally taking office, an ambassador needs to submit his credentials to host country and credentials must be accepted.
“We are confident that with Mr. Romualdez at the helm of the Philippine embassy at Washington, D.C., will further strengthen PH-US relations and promote stronger cooperation between the two countries,” Presidential Spokesperson Ernie Abella said.
Romualdez will also have concurrent jurisdiction over the Commonwealth of Jamaica, Republic of Haiti, Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and Grenadines and Saint Lucia.
