President Rodrigo Duterte said during the Conferment Ceremony of the Gawad Career Executive Service (CES) and the 2017 Outstanding Government Workers that he previously ordered the police to kill his son Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte if caught involved in illegal drug trade.
“Sinabing order ko nga noon, ‘pag may mga anak ako na nasa droga, patayin ninyo para walang masabi ang tao,” he said.
“Kaya sabi ko diyan kay Pulong: My order is to kill you if you are caught – and I will the protect the police who will kill you, kung totoo ‘yan,” President Duterte said.
“So that may masabi ako sa tao: Ayan. Daldal kayo nang daldal o ayan, patay na, ang katawan ng anak ko,” Duterte said.
