Jollibee Foods Corporation opened its 15th Jollibee fast-food store in Brunei. The said store is located at Brunei International Airport in Bandar Seri Begawan, the country’s capital.
Philippine Ambassador to Brunei Meynardo LB. Montealegre was the Guest of Honor during the opening on September 2.
“Also present during the event were Mr. Mohd Emmy Shamdy Khairul, Acting Deputy Director for Civil Aviation, Mr. Dennis Flores, Jollibee’s Vice President for International Operations for Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia, and Mr. Abdul Razak bin Mohd Hassan, representing the franchisee in Brunei,” the Department of Foreign Affairs said.
Flores thanked Brunei’s Civil Aviation Department for allowing Jollibee to operate at the international terminal in its “most beautiful overseas branch.”
“Jollibee recently celebrated its 30th anniversary in Brunei in August 2017, and is considered as the most successful PHL brand in the Sultanate,” DFA said.
“The Embassy, as part of its economic diplomacy initiatives, strongly promotes the expansion of PHL brands in Brunei Darussalam,” it added.
