United States President Donald Trump warned that the US will have no other choice but to ‘totally destroy’ North Korea if forced to defend itself and its allies.
He said at the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York that “if the righteous many do not confront the wicked few, then evil will triumph.”
“The United States has great strength and patience but if it is forced to defend itself and its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump said.
“Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself and for his regime,” he added.
Trump said the United States is “ready, willing, and able” but still hopes that military option will not become necessary.
He said that North Korea should realize that the denuclearization is its only “acceptable future”.
