President Rodrigo Duterte on Wednesday, October 11 revealed that information reaching his office say ISIS-inspired terrorists in the country are planning attack five major cities.
“Itong terrorism inspired ng ISIS will not go in about seven to 10 years. There will be violence everywhere. Ke sa mga America, ke Europe, lahat tinamaan. Tayo, most profoundly, sa siege sa
Marawi,” he told military during the groundbreaking ceremony of Scout Ranger Ville in Bulacan.
“They will not disappear. They will regroup anywhere and everywhere. Ang sabi ko lang, and I’m warning you, the soldiers of the Republic: What if they strike in five places at the same time? Zamboanga, maybe Basilan, Isabela,” he added.
“‘Yan ang pumapasok sa opisina ko eh. And one major cities. Well, in the long run, we will prevail but initially mag-ano,” he noted.
“So just remember that terrorism is a deadly movement to confront us and our children, ‘yung mga anak natin. ‘Yung mga anak ninyo, abutan pa ito. It will reach your retirement age. So just be prepared for that,” he said.
