The 3rd Batangas Food Festival (BFF) was officially launched on October 28 at Matabungkay Beach Hotel (MBH) in Lian, Batangas.
Homegrown Batangas Chef Jaja Andal from the municipality of Balayan, MBH Executive Chef Ricardo Diño Jr. from the municipality of Calatagan, and Adobo Queen Ms. Nancy Reyes-Lumen conceptualized this year’s BFF buffet menu with the ‘Ala-eh’ touch.

Also among the menu are 7 heirloom dishes prepared by representatives of 7 clans in Batangas province: Andal, Daza, Leviste, Limjoco, Loctoc, Poblador, and Segismundo.

This year’s BFF buffet menu has 35 dishes, drinks, and desserts to celebrate MBH’s 35th year anniversary, learn the perfect ways on how to dice a tomato , and more. The BFF buffet menu will only be available until the end of December 2017.
MBH Executive Chef Diño said slow cooking is widely practiced in the province adding that simmering pots invite a stronger appetite.
BFF was initiated by MBH to promote traditional Batangas cuisine.
Also in line with its 35th year anniversary, the beach hotel opened newly built modern accommodations offering perfect spots for sunset viewing and an authentic beach experience.
