NAIA no longer among world, Asia’s worst airports

This year 2017, Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) is not among Sleeping In Airports’ lists of worst airports in the world and in Asia.

In the past years, NAIA was listed in Sleeping In Airports’ lists of Top 5 Worst Airports in Asia and Top 20 Worst Airports in the World.

Moreover, Iloilo International Airport, Mactan–Cebu International Airport, Davao Francisco Bangoy International Airport, Clark International Airport were listed among the top airports of Asia, 12, 13, 17, 22, respectively.

Every year, Sleeping In Airports is conducting a survey on world and regional airports.

“Work, work, work lang. While it is good that we are not listed among the worst, let us work even harder to be included amongst the best,” Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Arthur P. Tugade said. “We should be careful that we do not backslide. The show must go on — and better!”
