Thousands of students in seven (7) towns of the province of Isabela can now utilize the 36 new school buildings constructed by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Composed of 14 single-storey, 11 two-storey, five (5) three-storey, and six (6) four-storey buildings, these projects were implemented to accommodate the growing number of enrollees in the towns of Angadanan, Alicia, Cabatuan, Luna, Reina Mercedes, San Guillermo, and San Mateo.
The completed projects are constructed with a total amount of P382.36-M, funded by the Basic Educational Facilities Fund (BEFF) of the Department of Education.
According to DPWH Isabela – Third District Engineer Editha C. Babaran, the public school buildings in Isabela benefitted are the following: Dingading Integrated School, Bagong Sikat Elementary School – Annex 1, Bonifacio Elementary School, Caloocan Elementary School, Sto. Niño Integrated School, San Guillermo Vocational and Industrial School, Reina Mercedes Vocational and Industrial School, and Alicia National High School.
“The completion of these school buildings is a manifestation of our support to the education program of our current administration with the hope that these new school buildings will serve as a tool for the students’ educational welfare” Engr. Babaran said.
