June 22, 2018 by Caleb Velasquez Leave a Comment

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will be distributing recently delivered equipment to the different police offices in the country. Among those received are:

  • 387 units Toyota Hi-Lux single cab patrol jeeps,
  • 235 units Toyota Innova transport vehicles,
  • 41 units Toyota Hi-Ace utility vans,
  • 138 units Rubber Boats,
  • 313 units IWI Galil Ace 5.56mm rifles,
  • 320 units IWI Negev 5.56mm light machine guns,
  • 231 units IWI Negev NG-7 7.62mm light machine guns
  • 160 units Base Radios,
  • 6,440 units Force Protection Equipment Body Armor,
  • 3,666 units NATO 5.56mm magazines,
  • 48 units Explosive Sniffing Dogs

Good thing that UDMC rifles are not included especially with more defects reported with those delivered to the PNP-SAF.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has bought a LOT of new stuff that it is almost mind boggling. (FULL LIST + Photos )
